Genetic testwebsite
Genetic test website
Designing a responsive multi-language website for a DNA test company offering products to businesses as well as end customers.
Our goal was to design a multilanguage website for GenePlanet, the leading European provider in the field of genetic testing. The company develops clinical genetic tests that help medical professionals with their therapeutic procedures. They specialize in personalized preventive genetic tests for general use and offer blood tests for monitoring individuals’ current state.

The direction of user experience
My responsibility on the project was the direction of user experience and UI design. Working with the brand manager, stakeholders, and designers. Coordinating, mentoring, delegating tasks, and reviewing designers’ work and their contributions to the project. Also responsible for hands-on delivering wireframes, prototypes, creating visual assets, and finalizing the design for handoff.
Information architecture
With a card sorting workshop, we revisited the idea of existing information organization. This helped us gather different approaches to the categorization and gave us insight into how to organize the website.
Flowcharts
After gathering insights and outlining information architecture we collaborated with marketing to better understand user call to action, their goals, and flows.
Wireframing
ith a general idea about the website pages, we started to outline and iterate the content propositions with the wireframes.
User interface design
The design was made mobile-first as more than 65% of the website traffic is mobile. The design and prototypes were created in Figma. We had fully functional prototypes tested and evaluated before the development.
User testing
We designed and tested multiple landing pages where marketers refined their concepts and got valuable insights.
Localization
One of the design objectives of the website was to support and foresee other languages. Besides this, we localized all the visual assets which depict the user interface of the product.
Design iterations
Implementing analytics, video and heatmap monitoring revealed opportunities for optimization in fast intervals.
